Vitalis Scholarship 2024

Do you have a good innovative solution within health and care?

This year the Vitalis scholarship will again encourage the development of integrated solutions that use IT to help break down traditional barriers between departments or healthcare providers, for the benefit of residents, patients and users. This may involve a product, project, method or working approach. The scholarship is awarded annually to staff in health and care as well as health and medical care.

In total, a price value of SEK 150,000

The scholarship sum is SEK 60,000 and it may be distributed as one or two grant(s) by the local authority and/or county council / region. The scholarship may also be awarded to private healthcare providers operating on behalf of a municipality or county council / region. In addition, the winner will get the chance to carry out a so-called Discovery together with Tietoevry Care's innovation department, in order to develop the innovation further. Value SEK 90,000. In total, a price value of SEK 150,000.

• The scholarship is open to applicants from Sweden, Norway and Denmark and has been established in by Vitalis in partnership with Tietoevry Care.

Winner of the Vitalis scholarship 2023 – Region Västerbotten

Last year, the Vitalis scholarship was awarded for the 19th year in a row, and in 2023 the award was given to Virgina Zazo in Region Västerbotten. Västerbotten ut Gränser has developed a digital model for needs-based care competence worldwide.
